The Times says Lord Patten has been selected as the new Chairman of the BBC Trust. This blog is proud to have suggested his candidacy on October 6th 2010, and tipped him more formally on October 21st 2010.
Transport costs at the Trust can now be reduced by Chris sharing a car and driver with DG Thommo, to and from Oxford.
