False start, but no flag

Expect unhelpful headlines soon over the BBC's move to MediacityUK.   But then try to read the small print.  There has apparently been some delay in the BBC technology installation in Quay House, and around 30 to 40 sports staff are having their moving dates delayed, with occupation of the third floor starting in early June, rather than late May. BBC News sports staff - David Bond et al - are now moving after Christmas, not before, as previously planned. However, the project start and end date for the move as whole is unaffected.  More details in Broadcast (behind wall).

Later leaks of the email to staff talk about delays in the "self-provide" technology - making it clear it's kit the BBC is buying and installing itself, rather than Peel Media.
