It seems the BBC Gold Command and their Press Team are intent on dribbling out bits of the Huw Edwards' story, rather than giving us the whole picture in one go.
Today, a BBC spokesman told The Telegraph: “In the case of Huw Edwards, we considered carefully all issues raised with us as part of a fact-finding disciplinary investigation and that informed a confidential disciplinary process. During this period he chose to resign and did so with immediate effect – without notice or financial settlement."
