New

"What's new to iPlayer", a regular feature from the BBC publicity team, this week points us to 33 programme, 6 of them 'acquisitions'.  5.5%.

Pretty Little Liars: Summer School premiered in the States on Max (formerly HBO Max) in May, produced by, largely, by Warner Brothers.

Vienna Blood (fourth series), made by Endor Films with Austrian company MR, and substantial German and Austria finance. Sue Deeks, BBC Head of Programme Acquisition, says: “This is such an exciting event – a Vienna Blood case so big it needs to be told over two thrilling episodes. What a treat we have in store!”

Corridors of Power, made for Showtime Documentary Films in 2022

Interview with the Vampire; more of a series made in the States for AMC Networks

High Country, an eight-part Australian drama, released on Binge and Showcase in March.

Ghosts US, the CBS version of the British hit.

One could argue about the true provenance of Made in Korea: The K-Pop Experience, where the Korean production giant SM Entertainment is the prominent partner, and perhaps beneficiary.
