Lighter users

BBC Content supremo Charlotte Moore says Auntie's not spending too much on buying in programmes from abroad. 

 "Acquisitions is part of our originated spend, it is under 5% of our overall budget.  Acquisitions have always been a way we have managed to reach lighter users, I think that the audience expect it on an on-demand platform.  

"We're very good at bringing them the very best of what is out there in the international market.  Sue Deakes and Jo Lapping have been very good at cherry picking shows like Colin from Accounts and Kin that you simply wouldn't be able to see.  It is a tiny part of what we do. "
