I must have missed it; did anyone notice a job ad for the role of BBC Global News Director ?
Jonathan Munro, formerly of ITN, has been selected, an appointment announced by BBC News CEO Deborah Turness, formerly of ITN. "In this new role, spanning international services, he will be Director of the BBC World Service, oversee BBC Monitoring and remain Deputy CEO of BBC News and Current Affairs."
Where on earth will his (2023) £305k+ salary end with all this additional responsibility, that slides so easily into his current work ?
