I suspect not many BBC politicos are chasing big interviews with Peter Smallwood, President of the Conservative Party, James Asser, Chair of the Labour Party, Mark Pack, President of the Liberal Democrats, or John Nott, Chair of the Green Party. But current BBC judgement goes wobbly in front of Nigel Farage, Honorary President of Reform UK. Did Chris Mason, Political Editor, resist being sent to Dover to cover his speech and interview him ? Or was he sent ?
The lunacy of where we are as Black and Brown journalists in our media landscape. Having to apologise for calling out racism by a well-documented racist platformed by our national broadcaster. The bile meets their editorial standards but her pushing back doesn’t. Disgusting. https://t.co/tMIxoiaEGC
