Thin ?

Am I alone in perceiving some picture squeezing in SAS Rogue Heroes ?  Not on the iPlayer on a tablet or laptop, but when it reaches the old fashioned HD tv ?   It's been shot, it think, to make use of Extra Widescreen TVs - Director of Photography Stephan Pehrsson said he used Kowa anamorphic lenses combined with Canon K35s for VFX shots.  I occasionally feel some of the actors are looking a bit thin.....
