British summer time

Latest consolidated figures show ITV's Love Island value to the network; an average of around 4.5m are keeping up with the swimwear/suntan/snogging show, which, if you can stand it, will run for 60 episodes.

(In the week from 13th June, the first 'news' programme in the charts comes in at Number 24, on 3.5m)

The Yanks are relaunching their version - Season 4 (we're on 8) starts in two weeks, moved to NBC's streaming platform, Peacock. There's a new host - actress Sarah Hyland - and UK voice-over Iain Stirling will narrate. The villa will be 'some where on the West Coast', with 'naughtier games and sexier challenges.'
