ITV News teams have been told that they'll have a place on the all new ITVX streaming platform, launching later this year - but it's not immediately clear what that 'place' will look like.
It's apparently a "24/7 video on demand" offer (Isn't that YouTube ? Ed), though it will have occasional live programmes and bulletins. It is expected to 'evolve' in the first year.
ITV hope ITVX will be everyone's favoured destination, for free content with ads, or ad-free if you dosh up. Subscribers will also have access to BritBox UK.
