Champion night

Only one person in BBC News commanded a fee above £10k, in the latest three-month register of external events. 

Huw Edwards hosted the Business Champion Awards, run by Business Matters, at the East Wintergarden, Canary Wharf. It cost entrants £249+VAT, and they got a free seat if they made the short list. Individual seats were £190.00+VAT each; full tables for 12 £2000.00+VAT.
