Ah, BBC job ads - the gift that keeps giving.
HR under Valerie kept a tight rein on job titles; Wendy and Rachel are now showing off their trendy side and letting rip. Forget 'onboarding', 'talent acquisition', 'hiring strategies', 'entire employee lifecycles' - so yesterday. Now they need a People Experience Director.
This is "a new role for the BBC which will be responsible for creating and delivering an engaging and seamless employee experience at the BBC. Reporting to the Group HR Director and a member of the HR Leadership Team, the People Experience Director will focus on creating a great working environment and culture where people can thrive in their careers. Ensuring we have the right people, with the right skills who are engaged and motivated to deliver their best for the BBC.
Involving a mix of HR skills such as business partnering, talent acquisition and talent development, the People Experience Director will partner both the business and HR to develop strategic plans in order to attract, retain and develop diverse talent by creating inclusive innovative people strategies that align to our business strategy."
