Generously, BBC Director General Lord Hall and Managing Director Bob Shennan have invited DG-elect Tim Davie onto the only media show that matters - the weekly Zoomfest that is BBC staff's opportunity to see just how agile and innovative BBC managers have been on a regular basis during the current epidemic.
Tomorrow's edition, at noon, will feature DG-as-is Tony in conversation with DG-to-be-Tim. Will it be a re-run of the board questions ? Will Tim share THE winning Powerpoint ? Will host Bob allow questions from thwarted candidate Charlotte Moore ? Will Jim Purnell put Tim right on a few strategy points ?
