Bob Shennan, now BBC Group MD, is not confining himself to administrative matters. He's been leading on finding someone to deliver the Corporation's centenary celebrations in 2022 - and lighted upon one of his former proteges, James Stirling, Head of Music.
This, of course, gives Bob another bit of fun - finding a new Head of Music, unless, of course James 'Mixtape' Purnell, wakes up and takes an interest.
