If the BBC's domestic news services are attracting bigger numbers in the coronavirus epidemic, the World Services output in foreign languages is doing remarkable business. Digital audiences alone reached 163m a week at the end of March, compared with 51m at the same time last year. Big winners - Hindi, at 42m, Mundo (Spanish) at 24m and Brasil (Portuguese) at 16m.
BBC.com in English is also reaching record numbers with 58m unique browsers last week, up by 80% since December.
