Three weeks into the job, new BBC Studioworks CEO Andrew Moultrie has extended the business's partnership with Elstree Studios for another four years, until at least March 2024.
They will continue to rent Elstree 8, Elstree 9 and The George Lucas Stage 2 – an arrangement started in 2013 to house parts of BBC Studioworks’ operations while Television Centre was being redeveloped. Over that period, clearly enough work has turned up to keep the deal going, on top of Studio D at BBC Elstree and the three revamped studios at Television Centre, which came on stream in September 2017.
Andrew has a Bachelor of Business Studies degree from Auckland University of Technology, and started out with Nike, New Zealand. He joined BBC Worldwide in 2013.
