Back To The Future

It's occasionally a good idea to sit back, chew the fat and consider future strategy. The BBC's last look at "The Future Of News" came in 2015, under previous boss, James Harding. Lord Hall and his Director of News Fran Unsworth have set aside today to be sequestered with senior news managers, to Think Big Thoughts. Sadly, it comes on a day when most energies are devoted to testy exchanges with the Wide Boys of Conservative Central Office, over interviews with Boris Johnson. The New Future of News may have to wait.
