A trip to ancient Rome beckons for EBU delegates to the 71st Prix Italia. Lord Hall is El Presidente of the EBU; BBC radio no 2, Graham Ellis is El Presidente of the Prix Italia.
Some of the events, over 5 days at the end of this month, take place in the world's first covered shopping mall, Trajan's Market, which will be the EBU's HQ for the week. Seminars, on "Diversity in a Global Media World", will take place in the Casa dei Cavalieri di Rodi next door. Really important big stuff, like the Eurovision Song Contest Workshop, will take place in the Palazzo delle Esposizioni.
