Here's the first BBC semi-reverse ferret of the Autumn season. Less than two weeks ago, 72-year-old Sean Coyle, mid-morning host on BBC Radio Ulster announced his departure, walking before he was pushed as part of a schedule shake-up. A small furore ensued.
Now BBC NI executives think they've found a way to keep him on air with a daily show for another year - but only on the frequencies of Radio Foyle; more details are expected in the next few weeks. It still looks a clumsy way to handle things - presumably they'll be paying for two shows rather than the previous one across Northern Ireland.
