What does Sky News need to make Early Burley a success ?  A "blue-chip senior female news executive bringing flair, drive & leadership", obvs. So Kay Burley's breakfast show is being edited by Gill Penlington.

Gill (Oaklands, Waterlooville and PPE Balliol, Oxford) comes from nine years with CNN in London. Prior to that, she had a year with BBC Question Time, widening the guest range to include Will Young and Tango, a tom-cat.  Clearly Sky would like the show to have a little more oomph, a la Piers Morgan, but even Gill mind find that a tough tightrope to walk with La Burley....
