It's all pink on the map for the Kate Oates' soap opera empire. She joined the BBC in August last year, to mind EastEnders, Holby City and Casualty, with the title Senior Executive Producer. Now she's been promoted to Head of Continuing Drama, BBC Studios, and so gets to supervise Pobol y Cwm (Wales) Doctors (England) and River City (Scotland).
I'm sure it doesn't represent centralisation - does it ? She presumably has Welsh ?
