Something's happening in the world of radio jaw-jaw. The Today programme on Radio 4 has shed 839,000 listeners over a year; Radio 5Live Breakfast is down 337,000. Overall, Radio 4 is down 8.3% year on year, and 5Live down 11%, falling below 5m for the first time anyone can remember.
Yet the LBC network is up 3% in reach over the same period; TalkSport is up 10%, and TalkRadio up nearly 7%.
