Rival broadcasters have been musing over the budget for Mark Easton's current series of reports for BBC News on English votes. And, if the budget isn't perhaps over the top, the visual gimmicks certainly are...  This online version, from Day One, misses the live intro from Winchester, complete with lights, two cameras, jib action and meaningless turns from our reporter. And the "content" ? Largely vox pops. (Click on pic for improved legibility...)
