So ITV's latest attempt at an appetising breakfast cereal serial, Good Morning Britain, will blend two creatures of commercial tv - Ben Shephard, previously of GMTV, and Charlotte Hawkins, currently Katherine Hepburn to Eamonn Holmes' Spencer Tracy at Sky News - with two BBC products, Susanna Reid and Sean Fletcher.

Susanna's compassionate leave becomes gardening leave.
