Imagine you had a workforce of just over 1,000. Over a five year period, how many times would you expect management to take disciplinary action ? I've no idea, but BBC Scotland flexed their muscles twice. Their FOI response avoids answering the question of whether or not the offenders lost their job.
BBC Scotland has
taken disciplinary action on two occasions, to deal with one instance of bullying behaviour in
the workplace and to deal with one instance of theft of BBC property. Both cases were
investigated and resolved in line with the BBC’s workplace guidelines.
Now we need someone to pose the wider question, covering the total workforce.
