The support of two strong women

Once again, I'm grateful to the Guardian for the news of how Lord Patten will interview candidates for the next Director General of the BBC. Apparently, the Lord and his deputy, Diane Coyle, will conduct the preliminary interrogations, to reduce to a final shortlist, where the duo will be joined by Trustees Alison Hastings, Richard Ayre, Anthony Fry and David Liddiment. Crouch, touch, pause, engage.
