Business Week, quoting Bloomberg, are saying that the BBC has received an offer of £200m for Television Centre, according to "two people with knowledge of the sale". Estimates before this marketing exercise ranged from "lucky to get anything over £30m" (by me) to £300m (Evening Standard) - I'm sticking to a low price once diligence and full surveys are done.
Investors have been asked to tender for either buying the site outright or working in partnership with the BBC. The buzz is that the partnership deal is the one that's driving things up - which may require some cute manoeuvring by BBC lawyers to exploit.
Under the proposals of DQF, "scope" reductions amount to £205m - every year.
