No tie required

There are readers, even in Oxford, who say there's a slight obsession with Lord Patten in this blog. I still like to chronicle his travels. Earlier today, the Chancellor of the University of Oxford and Chairman of the BBC was channelling Robbie Williams at a big wedding in Hong Kong.

With wife Lavender, he's caught on the blue carpet, heading to the wedding ceremony of U.S.-based Hong Kong singer Coco Lee and Group President and Chief Executive Officer of Li & Fung Ltd, Bruce Rockowitz. The two-day celebrations are costing the couple an estimated $20m, with guests being entertained by Bruno Mars, Alicia Keys and NeYo.

Other guests are said to include Beyonce, J-Lo and Oprah.  If anyone has shots of the good Lord throwing shapes.....
