Marco Pierre White is to hold "X Factor-style auditions" for hotel and restaurant staff in Liverpool. The Daily Post reports that The Echo Arena has been booked for Thursday, to fill posts at the new Hotel Indigo and Marco Pierre White Steakhouse and Grill.
Will it work ? Will they queue round the block to be night-porters, laundry maids and cleaners ? Is this the trick for all employers - simply call a job interview an audition ?
