Party on down

A three-day festival of leaving events at the BBC. Tonight, ace-guitarist and financial journalist Martin Shankleman.  Also, Radio Newsroom and 5Live stalwart Matt Morris.

Matt, a keen cyclist and Bellowhead fan, will be haunting those on the move to Salford by correcting their spelling mistakes via Twitter, in a firm yet unavoidable manner.  In the midst of all this, the ups, downs, highs and lows of the Sony Radio Award  nominations.

Tomorrow, a light planning meeting for the Kevin Gearey farewell may elide into a more formal event to mark newscameraman Bob Prabhu's departure after 40 years behind the lens.   And somewhere, the BBC Breakfast-not-going-to-Salford do.   I'm knackered already...
