The punter's friend

Some forecasts are still going my way.  On 6th October, we said the next chairman of the BBC Trust would be a senior Tory (a very successful post entitled "looking for an older man" - there's something about this SEO stuff).   On October 21st, we expressed a wish that if it had to be a senior Tory, let it be Lord Patten. And, lo, today The Daily Telegraph says our Chris has submitted himself to the process.
