Brand Katie Waissel is sailing on regardless of rows about previous contracts and more, with happy comments from Heathfield School in Pinner, where she was educated to 16.  I can't find the "photography college" in Amersham that followed, nor references to her time at the London College of Fashion, but mum's shop DNK in Pinner High Street is one place you can now pick up a Katie poster.  Then there's the hairdressing chain where she worked as receptionist, HOB (originally Hair on Broadway).  Katie has graced the front desk in Ruislip, Northwood, Temple Fortune and Camden.  Onto showbiz, and the intervention of the marketing team  for Sprite, the lemon-lime offering from the Coca-Cola Corporation.  They were looking for a way of connecting with "yoof " through Youtube and Facebook, and they did it in a big way in 2009.  You can find most webisodes of Katy's "reality" series Green-Eyed World on Youtube.  The story of a brunette singer-songwriter from "Europe" trying to make it in New York, Katie used the surname Vogel - in tribute to her grandfather, Jimmy, who died when she was young.   

Most recently, in LA, Tomas Costanza was working on recording Katie at Killingsworth Studios, having signed her as A&R manager for Chamberlain Records. You'll see, but be unable to hear, a track on his playlist called He's In Love, by one Lola Fontaine - one of Katie's nicknames for herself.  The money behind Chamberlain Records belongs to Jason Silverman from Palm Beach, Florida.

Where this all leads Katie I'm not sure.  The web is currently carrying rumours that she's not long for the X-Factor House. Still Hyver Hill is not far from home in Harefield.
