Sky News are about to replenish their ranks after some niggling losses to ITV's Daybreak. Dan Lobb made the transfer from GMTV to the new regime, but learned his trade at Sky; Steve Hargrave moved from Sky to continue on the entertainment beat for Daybreak - and Lucy Verasamy is settling at the Daybreak weather screen.
The easiest trawl is for new weather presenters. Click here for a list of potential candidates, then set your Sky+ box to record all the BBC regional output and you've got a free, ready-made audition tape. (Irony of ironies: it's BBC's No 2 Mark Byford who's the biggest weather nut at the BBC, and it's Mark Byford who had to fight to get all the regional output available on Sky)
You might have heard it first here - certainly if it turns out to be Reham Khan who's on her way to the Sky shed at Osterley.
