The big guns from Project Canvas were all out on parade at a conference yesterday - including BBC DG Mark Thompson. Thommo offered an "arts" push for the project, reported in detail by The Telegraph's Neil Midgley.
Meanwhile, in the Twittersphere, the learned Steve Hewlett offered the view that stakeholders in the Project are at sixes and sevens.
The problem is that, essentially, whatever the engine behind it, Project Canvas will look like a portal to a world of IPTV - and the very big gun of Google TV is coming up fast, with some serious partners in play. Unless Anthony Rose and his developers get there fast, the Canvas will remain blank.
