First sight of the set for Sky's go at the leader's debate suggests a can of paint may be needed. The red, white and blue shards in the background may be recognisably Sky News colours - but the ITV set was more politically correct with shards of red (Labour), blue (Conservative) and yellow (Libdems). Will there be a complaint before tonight ?
Meanwhile my former colleague Chris Birkett, Sky's prime mover in the campaign to get these debates started, hints to the Independent that he's ready to use some slack in the 76 rules - taking some longer answers and some shorter, in return for an overall balance. I hope he's got a full set of stopwatches....
