I'm confused about diversity, and the opportunities to demonstrate it on-air at the BBC. The Radio 5Live line-up for South Africa mentions one black man - DJ Tayo, apparently a fan of Nigeria as well as Arsenal, is part of Alan Davies' Armchair team (thus staying in the UK) - and one woman, Shelagh Fogarty, who only gets into the release cos she's staying in London while Nicky Campbell heads out there. Everyone else in mentioned in the press release is white and male.
On tv, they have at least added Clarence Seedorf and Emmanuel Adebayor to the pundit list, and are taking Gabby Logan along.
