Agents on the line

Some of the noise you can hear in the background of this post-Chiles-at-the-BBC-era is the sound of agents desperately spinning their clients as contenders for the cascade of vacancies and new teams that will emerge.

The Guardian has the most extensive list. Chris Hollins (Jo Carlton at Talent4 Media: other lead clients: John Craven, Gloria Hunniford and Mr Motivator) is one of their tips for The One Show, as is Matthew Wright (Jon Noel: other key clients Dermot O'Leary, Russell Brand and George Lamb).

For Match of The Day 2, the Guardian Media team seem to favour Mark Pougatch (no obvious agent, but partner in sports PR firm 11 Management) while the sports pages tip Colin Murray (Vivienne Clore; other clients Chris Moyles, Jo Brand and Rory Bremner).

Over at the Daily Mail, Helen Fospero (agent Jonathan Shalit of the ROAR Group) is tipped to partner Adrian, easing out, perhaps, Emma Crosby (agent Jonathan Shalit) and Kate Garraway (agent Melanie Rockliffe at Troika)

Meanwhile at The Mirror, the line is that Christine Bleakley (agent Jon Noel - see above; other female clients Tess Daly and Mariella Frostrup) will have the final say in a new friend Monday to Thursday on The One Show sofa. I suspect that Adrian Chiles (agent Avalon: other key clients Fiona Bruce and Victoria Derbyshire) will have a similar say on the GMTV sofa.
