Central stations

Building Design has the list of architects signed to deliver the remaining central London stations on Crossrail - (Hawkins Brown are already on site at Tottenham Court Road - remember the fountain debate ? Foster & Partners have planning permission at Canary Wharf).

Weston Williamson is to take on Paddington, where they promise no fiddling with the main station, but a "grand space" below; John McAslan & Partners get the trickier Bond Street - currently very small and provincial in look and feel. Wilkinson Eyre gets Liverpool Street; BDP take on Whitechapel and Aedas will work on Farringdon (another tricky one).

Crossrail chairman Terry Morgan has apparently ignored firms with Jubilee Line extension experience, including Will Alsop, Richard MacCormac and Ian Ritchie.
