An eye for design

Building Design reports a short-list of three to be interviewed by Ben Bradshaw for the role Chairman of CABE, the quango that comments on building design and issues papers about the built environment. Alan Howarth, 65, Tory-turned-Labour arts minister, and now a life peer; Paul Finch (top man, old colleague)60, architecture journalist and blogger, former deputy chair of CABE; and Michael Parkinson, 64, academic specialising in urban affairs at Liverpool John Moores University.

Come on Ben - it's Paul.
