Browsing the BBC's Culture music section, on bbc.com, one notes that, out of sixteen top stories, one is about Coldplay, another about ABBA, and the remainder about US performers, including three about Beyonce and two about Taylor Swift. 

The BBC are currently advertising for a Senior Digital Journalist, Culture, to be based in London; "You have strong editorial judgment in developing ideas for an international, primarily North America-based audience."
