Forgiven by Lucy Frazer and Rishi Sunak back in November, when he was first made a trustee of the Natural History Museum, Lord Hall now has the blessing of Lisa Nandy and Sir Keir Starmer, stepping up to Chairman. The vacancy is created by the departure of Sir Patrick Vallance, off to a real job.
The side effects of l'affaire Bashir, with damage to the career opportunities of a BBC graphic artist and a number of Panorama production staff, are apparently now all behind him.
