The BBC's Jonathan Munro, Director of Journalism and Deputy CEO News, has been elected to the Society of Editors' Board of Directors.
He joins the MailOnline’s Amanda Williams in taking up this new post with immediate effect.
Jonathan's BBC salary has risen to £305,000+ in the most recent figures, from £175,000+ in 2018/2019.
