MG Alba, the body that drives BBC Alba, has published its annual report - and the channel is now reaching only 50% of Gaelic speakers. "Awareness" of the existence of the channel in Scotland has dropped from 80% to 75%.
Over the year, MG Alba spent £330,000 of its £13.6m income on specific audience research, because it believes it needs to 'find' the Gaelic audience.
