How much does it cost to run BBC News ? Not sure, is my answer, as a couple of new names have been added to the disclosures of those on £178k plus, but without more definitive details of their salary band.
So we have
Deborah Turness, CEO, £400k
Jonathan Munro, Director of Journalism and Dep CEO, £305k
Naja Nielsen, Digital Director, £205k
Liliane Landor, Senior News Controller, World Service Group, £200k
Irene Asare, HR, £190k
Sam Taylor, COO, presumably £178k +
John McAndrew, Director of Programmes, presumably £178k +
Richard Burgess, Director of News Content, presumably £178k +
Joanna Carr, News Controller, Long Form Commissioning, £178k
So just over £2m.
A bargain! (not) 🙄
