Today's backbench debates feature this motion, from Sir Mike Penning: That this House calls on the BBC to reconsider its decision to reduce local news output from local radio journalism which will have a negative impact on communities across the UK, reduce access to local news, information and entertainment and silence local voices.
Mike spoke on local radio cuts back in December, so expect him to be even more fired up this time round.
Meanwhile the cuts are being imposed; tomorrow afternoon listeners to Radio WM and CWR share the dulcet tones of Mikey Burrows, sitting in for Trish Adudu.
