Cydblethu

In the intertwined world of Welsh TV, the National reports that two S4C (funded from the licence-fee) executives have sent solicitor's letters to BBC Wales (funded from the licence-fee) about BBC Wales' investigations into S4C's own investigation into bullying allegations. Clear ?

The hare was set running last month when Rhodri Williams, S4C chairman, told his network's news programme Newyddion (produced by BBC Wales) that he'd asked lawyers to investigate claims of bullying brought forward by the broadcast union BECTU.  The National understands that BBC Wales journalists have written to the S4C executives with a series of questions, and the solicitor's letter warns of 'legal action' if something they don't like is broadcast.
