Many conflicting agendas will be in play at an upcoming Media Society zoom session entitled "BBC News - Have They Got News for Us ?" this Wednesday evening.
Panellists include Paul Royall, an executive news editor at BBC News, currently supervising 'two streams into one most of the time' at the division's tv channel; Dr Tom Mills, sociologist and author of "The BBC: The myth of a Public Service"; Roger Mosey, former Beeboid and now Master of Selwyn College, Cambridge and fully-paid-up-member of the commentariat; and Paul Siegert, the NUJ's Broadcasting Organiser. In the chair, Matthew Stadlen; 5Live recently upset the Daily Mail by offering him freelance presenting.
