Asked about the future of the Chairman of the Board she said "Richard … continues to be chairman of the board and he’s doing a really good job, business as usual. He’s really supportive of what we’re doing" ( is that cutting spend on local radio and classical music, Char ?)

Meanwhile the Telegraph tells us that Mr Sharp's lawyers are writing to Mr Heppinstall, investigator of his BBC appointment, attempting to put him right about a few things. Mr Sharp seems to come with a generous team of fundamentally misguided advisers.
