Director of Nations Rhodri Talfan Davies says the BBC's £285m spending shortfall is now £400m because of the impact of inflation. So far he has insisted that the cuts to BBC Local Radio he's proposing are merely a switch of funding to the online future; will he hold that line when he appears in front of MPs on December 1st ?
