“The first figures I get are not broadcast figures anymore,” said BBC DG Tim Davie to Amol Rajan at the Royal Television Society yesterday.
Has it occurred to Tim to share the figures he does see first, as a way of gradually convincing both staff and audiences that the BBC's digital first investment decisions are actually moving in the right direction ?
